Could Access to Work help to cover childcare costs?

Hi! I've recently discovered 'Access to Work' after being partially sighted for the past 9 years. I'm unable to drive to this, I am a single mum of 2 children and my ex is not in the picture due to DV.
I may have a job offer for a position that's 9 minutes drive by car or 26 minutes by bus. The issue is that the bus timings might make it difficult for me to get to and from work in time to drop off and collect them from school/nursery.
Whilst the school does a before/after school club, the nursery currently does not. Does anyone know if the scheme would allow for this adjustment?
I've looked into childminders for my youngest but they all collect from the much larger primary school just down the road, not from the school my boys attend! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This doesn't cover child care. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/access-to-work-factsheet/access-to-work-factsheet-for-customersThere are other ways to claim for child care costs, such as tax free childcare, Tax credits or Universal Credit. https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costsIf you don't already claim tax credits then you won't be able to start a new claim because it's now changed to Universal Credit. Whether you'll qualify for UC will depend on your circumstances. You can use a benefits calculator to check entitlement. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/benefits-calculator/Intro/Home?cid=6912f825-0a82-4bca-9de1-2eac6482da43

Hi there
Access to work may provide taxi but only to and from work it wouldn't include child drop off also they only provide if you are unable to use public transport -
Currently, they are running three months behind. I have had so much aggravation I had to ask my MP to help and then discovered they are three months behind- told this 2 weeks ago.
