DM said decision hadn't been made yet, but that there's an appeals process after MR. Is this bad?

So after a 10 week wait full of pure stress and anxiety I had the decision maker call this morning to discuss my point but I’m really worried because she said that a decision hadn’t been made yet but obviously they was another appeal process if I didn’t agree with their decision. I’m just worried that it was her way of telling me I had fail the mr any advice or anything I’m stressing out

Hi @stacei
Thanks for posting, sorry to hear that you are a bit stressed out at the minute.
Please try your best not to worry about it, I'm sure there's nothing to read into the call. As they said, a decision hasn't been made yet, so perhaps they just needed a bit more information from you.
Hopefully you receive the decision soon and it's a positive one!Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

The decision maker does sometimes ring if they have any further questions before making the decision. It doesn't mean anything other than that. We've had members that have had a decision in their favour after this and some that haven't had a decision in their favour.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
As posted in the other thread where you posted this questioning is good practice for the DM to inform you of your appeal rights.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Hi @stacei I know it's difficult, but I second Ross, try not to get yourself worried over it. As a said in the other thread, this is all a standard part of the process.
What sorts of things do you do to de-stress and feel relaxed? Maybe have a long chat with friend, or a loved one.
Sometimes it helps to think of what you would say to a friend or loved one if they were in your position, and try and treat yourself the same wayOnline Community Coordinator
