Do you get an ESA increase once you turn 25?

My daughter receives esa and turned 25 in October. A friend has told her she should get an increase in her money now she's older but she hasn't heard anything. Is this true or is it just people on universal credit who get an increase? I've tried searching online and can't find anything.

Hi @starbuck - as you will see in the following link, prior to being assessed then a higher amount is paid to those aged 25 or over. Then, if placed in the work related group, a person would receive the same amount as a person aged 25 or over prior to assessment, & more again if placed in the support group. Please see the governments website: https://www.gov.uk/employment-support-allowance/what-youll-get
