The Beauty Of Nature

l have a strong belief in Nature has all the answers to our worldly problems. To help us in our daily lives to get through it and physically enjoy what nature provides for us is a great source of wealth we all should open our minds up to.
Here is a cactus l grew some years ago that flowers only for 24 hours in the right conditions and then fades until another time in life happens again. That to me is mind-blowing.
And,l grow lots of different kinds of sunflowers for the insects and for food to the wildlife in the winter. But if you look closely at the way the sunflowers seed head is formed. You can see distinctive mathematical patterns on the head. Again mindblowing.
What l am saying is. Look to nature and just open your minds up to the huge resource of beneficial produce nature gives us for free.  Nature can heal us. lt brings us peace of mind, which leads to a more peaceful way of life. To grow plants for food and to make compost for the plants that grow the food we want, gives us a double bonus of a sense of achievement.
Here is a photo of my cactus. l'll paste a sunflower pattern later

I love the cactus flowers @Ookpik! I have some mini ones, and one of them flowers every so often. It's always lovely to see.

That sunflower pattern is mesmerising :)

There is one thing in this world we all need to live in peace is, nature. Why do we have corporations out to destroy the very life source we all rely on for our survival. To see nature being destroyed by the ever fast encroachment of human activity does bring with it quite a lot of negative activities as well. lt brings fear, stress, worries, ill health, and also physical ailments which were brought on by mental ill health.
That is why much of the mental and physical ailments are actually caused by human activity,Examples, noise pollution toxins in the air, land and waters, overcrowding which creates restrictions and many more are one of the major causes of mental ailments. But nature does not. So why are we destroying this source that gives us good health?
l am not against a human activity as long as it is in harmony with nature. What l am against is the lack of respect towards nature that has the ability to make us ill. And that is what l think is the root cause of all of our problems. We need open spaces, the countryside with meadows and woods. lt brings us a sense of freedom and that promotes a sense of well being in us. The best doctor in the world is nature
Here is a website l found about natures abilities to keep us healthy.

l built this birdhouse approx 3 years ago designed for blackbirds. lt has an upper flooring for the birds to look out of the window, and it also has perch for them to hop on to make their way down to the bottom floor lt is also insulated and divided into two rooms for any bird with a large brood. And after all that luxury l have made for any bird accommodate this house[morgage free, with no hidden charges] Not one even bothered to view it. Life can be a bummer at times when the wildlife does not appreciate the kindness. l have also built many other birdhouses for wrens and other smaller birds. And the same applies to this one. not one bothered to make it their home. Caring for wildlife has its challenges. But, one thing l can say. l thoroughly enjoy it

What a shame the birds aren't tempted by your wonderful birdhouse! You never know, one day they might make it their home I hope.

Thanks for sharing @Ookpik, the cactus is lovely too, and the sunflower. There's something about stopping to look at little details that makes you really appreciate life :)

A real beauty of nature is when humans react in harmony with all the animals and their habitats. That is truly an inspiration of what love means. to be in harmony with nature

    The Ceropegia Ampliata
Commonly known as ‘Bushman’s Pipe’. lt can reach 2 m long. The plant's stems are green and hairless. As the plant grows, you can expect it to produce white to green flowers that appear in late summer. Beautiful flowers. lt reminds me of  a place in "Make Believe

Soil is a wonderful creation. Not only does it give life to plants which we need for our survival. But the marvellous thing about this wonder is. The smell from the soil lights up neurotransmitters in the brain which gives it that boost to release that wonderful chemical known as "Serotonin" This drug is in all of us, But nature has that ability to help us on our way to that mood-lifting hormone. The microorganisms found in the soil,, like leaf mould, proper compost etc releases the natural smell l find so pleasant and it helps me to feel relaxed. What l am saying is. Nature is the way forward to many cures for mental ailments. {Not all}.
Here is an example..People feel more of a well being in the countryside than in urban areas. That is just one of many that cause mental ailments. Human activity is destroying the very life source we all need for our mental and physical well being. Has anyone thought about why mental ailments are on the rise? Just look at the density of human activity in the U.K. and still encroaching fast in the countryside.
l am not against the human activity. But what l am against is. by not being in harmony with nature. There must be a natural balance with human activity living with nature, not against it.l believe that is where we should be focusing on for our right to live in peace with ourselves and with a planet that we live on

l forgot to post a photo of the compost from another source. By looking at this , gives me a sense of achievement. l make my own compost every year from kitchen waste[not cook, nor fats] even cardboard can be composted down. lt takes 6 months plus, but it is best to wait a whole year for the best results. And the end product has a beautiful sweet smell .l could smell it a day, because the smell does gives me a calm feeling

The power of nature astounds me from the way it works. Here is a lightning strike from the top of the cumulus anvil cloud, which is approx 36,000ft high.
Can you imagine if someone has the ability to channel that power into the national electrical grid to power the nation? That person could be a billionaire and will solve our energy crisis. But the problem is, the scientist say a lightning bolt is hotter than the sun, which is 53,000 degrees [l think that is right]
