Unexpected phone call from PIP

Someone from PIP phoned me at 6.15pm last night to say that the DWP had received my renewal form and I would probably be given the same award (I sent lots of evidence) but he needed to go through my case and phone me back tomorrow (today).
I am still waiting on the call...
Is this standard practice?

No, it's not standard practice. Sometimes they do call to ask questions but it's rare for them to do this.

Thank you for your reply @poppy123456. I phoned the DWP the following Monday. I was awarded the Enhanced rate for both for 10 years.0
