Hi everyone, just a little positive post, I applied for pip in aug for anxiety and depression, had my phone assessment the beginning of december and recieved my report today, the assesor has scored me 15 points for daily living and 10 points for mobility, i am over the moon, i was worried as i had applied a few years ago and was knocked back, anyway just wanted to post and let people know it can be done, i know some people including myself were in two minds wether to apply with anxiety and depression but i am so glad i did!!

Thanks for the positive post, good to hear. Though it is worth mentioning that the AP doesn’t score points, they only make recommendations. The only person that can score points is a decision maker.A decision maker will now look at everything you sent, including the report and make a decision from there.Whilst they most do go with the report, there have been times where they go against it but it’s rare.
Decision timescales are between 2-12 weeks. -
yes, sorry i mean i added up the marks she gave me and thats what it added up to, sorry for the mistake.

Hi @rayrar80 please do keep us updated, and let us know when you receive the final decision. I'm very glad to hear you're feeling so positive. As you say, you never know about these things until you try!
Hopefully it won't be too long a wait but I wish you all the best for an equally positive final decisionOnline Community Coordinator
