Around the beginning of 2020, I applied for a mandatory reconsideration regarding an overpayment of UC I was told I had to pay by the DWP and this was cancelled and revised. However I'm still receiving a letter saying I need to pay that sum even though it was revised in 2020 and I was told I owe no overpayment. Can anybody advise on this? I have the documentation saying the overpayment will be cancelled or has been cancelled I believe.

You will need to contact DWP debt management, if you can get hold of them because they are very difficult to get hold of.

Tell them exactly what you've said here.

Maybe if you can’t get through on the telephone send them a letter? Least it’s a start and should work it’s way to them eventually.0
