I have a message from EON for my electric. I am on a fixed tarrif which runs out in june. I am on the Fix Again 15 Months v7. I currently pay
£391.78
per year
£32.65
per month
Yearly energy use
1,929 kWh
Electricity
The messages i am receiving from them is asking if i want to change my tarrif but this is where it is confusing.
£485.17
per year
£40.43
per month
but it does not have a name for the new tariff and when i look into it, it says the following
About your electricity tariff
Supplier | E.ON (E.ON Energy Solutions Limited) |
---|---|
Tariff name | E.ON EnergyPlan |
Tariff type | Variable price |
Payment method | Fixed Monthly Direct Debit |
Unit rate | Normal 20.076p per kWh |
Standing charge | 26.824p per day |
Tariff ends on | No end date |
Price guaranteed until | Not applicable |
Exit fees (If you cancel the tariff before the end date) | Not applicable |
I am really confused. Can anyone please help. It says no end date which is confusing

It says it’s a variable tariff therefore it doesn’t have an end date.
Given that it’s more expensive than your existing fixed tariff there is clearly no sense in you switching (and seems irresponsible of them to even ask the question).Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
thank you for that.
