Hi,It maybe extremely difficult to find someone to attend an assessment with you. I'm not aware of any advice agencies that would do this. You can check this link to see what's local to you and then contact them to ask. https://advicelocal.uk/
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
If someone attends an assessment with you they will not be permitted to speak on your behalf.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Hi @benmccay , I think it is a good idea to take someone with you for assessment. The person simply can support you or act as witness. If you are looking for advocate then you need to search your area. Lots of charitable advocating organisation may just work only for your borough. If you live in London perhaps you could ask Hackney Choice organisation for help or advice who they could link you with in your area. I am sure they are well connected with other organisation and could simply post you towards right direction. I hope I was able to help you a bit. Have a good day.

A witness, for what reason? It's an assessment, you're not on trial in a court.
