I have applied for pip in September of 2021 I waited 10 weeks for them to turn me down and have had to do a mandatory reconsideration as the pip I was only given 6 points. For the living and zero for mobility. Has anyone been awarded pip after mandatory reconsideration with only 6 points as I'm not happy with how Capita did my assesment and put things on there that was not true and lied about my medication and how things affect me. I have been deaf since the age of 4 I suffer with menieres disease osteoarthritis and have social anxiety and depression. I've been waiting since 18th of January and I rang them to ask how much longer it will be I was told it can take upto 14 weeks is this correct. Its a long time and making my anxiety worse any advice would be helpful

Hi and welcome to the community
Unfortunately that seems to be how long decisions are taking at the moment
New claims are taking around 10 months to complete then add on around 4 months for mr decisions if you appeal1
