WCA phone appointment cut short

Around half way through the phone WCA for continuing my ESA the assessor said something akin to 'oh we don't need to discuss your physical problems, I have enough information. It's not like pip, we only need certain information to decide.'
We talked about the mental health situation for 20 minutes or so, and he ended it there.
Should I be worried? They said they don't make a decision but only gather information, so why did they only gather half the information?

It sounds like to me that they had all the information they needed so there was no need to continue. During a WCA there's not always any need to talk about all your conditions.

Doesn't make sense that they'd know they have all the information needed for a decision if they aren't effectively making the decision and handcapping the decision maker by only giving partial information, so sounds like a bit of a fait accompli.Sounds like good news though so you've put my mind at rest. They are correct, they don't make decisions. They are there to gather more evidence to write the report based on their opinion of everything you sent and what you said during the assessment.I remember some years ago during one of my WCA's for ESA and it lasted a whole 10 minutes. She asked me 3 questions and focused only on mobilising and that was it. She told me she had all the information she needed and i could go.0
