Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a pc for my business. Only for business use. Cost around £650. Do you think this would be an allowable expense for universal credit?

In terms of hmrc, I usually pay myself a salary after all business expenses. In this scenario this pc purchase would be a tax deductible expense. But was wondering if uc would allow this expense on their side?

I'm a self employed it contractor. Office registered at home. Work from home but also visit client sites.

Thanks.

I suggest you ask your work coach.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.
