Random question.
I try to brush mine every time I eat, or about 20 mins after I eat. In reality I brush them about 2-4 times a day.

I go for twice a day, unless I've got a strange taste in my mouth or something stuck in my teeth I want to get out.

Do people use other stuff like mouthwash or floss or just brushing?
I use mouthwash before and after brushing but I’m lazy with the floss and always forget to do it. -
I use mouthwash if there's ever an occasion during the day where I feel as though I need a boost, or if I've just eaten tuna...
I used to use it right after brushing, but the dentist said that it's best to wait at least half an hour before using it.Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

That’s interesting @Ross_Scope thanks for the tip.
I was told to use it before brushing (as well as after) because it loosens any dirt in the teeth that you then spit out. It stops the dirt from being brushed around your teeth by the toothbrush causing damage. -
@Teddybear12 yeah I have used those little brushes as well, they are very good, but they are quite expensive aren’t they!
-
Should add: probably cheaper than needing work doing though ha ha.

I aim to brush mine twice a day, but sometimes I`m not in the right frame of mind to do so. On those days I brush them once - when I can be bothered.

Once is better than no times @Cartini

I brush my teeth 3 times a day, sometimes 4 and use mouthwash after.

I get colgate duraphat 5000 prescribed for me and I use this last thing at night no mouthwash allowed because of the fluoride.
Morning normal toothpaste, then I floss then mouthwash.
Midday brush teeth and mouthwash again.

Once in the morning and I use mouthwash before bed.

Interesting responses everyone thank youI didn’t get on with my electric toothbrush and went back to a manual one. Then recently I got a vibrating toothbrush and it’s really good. They are about £4 when on offer and are disposable unfortunately. So more expensive than a normal toothbrush but cheaper than heads for an electric one.
-
PS by disposable I mean you throw them away after about 2-3 months like a normal brush, I didn’t mean that they are single use!!
