Hi, I am a new mum and having difficulty feeding my baby by a bottle now he has grown out of his sling!
Any other mothers out there who have any solutions for me or can recommend equipment/furniture , or anything else that can help a wheelchair bound Mum. Thanks

Welcome to the community. Thank you for this post. I do not have any professional knowledge in this area. Personally I am not a parent either. I hope one of my colleagues is able to provide a solution for you.Have you thought of asking your Council for an Occupational Health Assessment? They might suggest something helpful for you. I'm not a parent either, but I'm sure you're not the only one who's experienced this!
Have you tried speaking to your GP or nurse? They may be able to help you find a solution, or point you towards the right people.
I'll also tag @Richard_Scope in, as he's got experience of being both a dad and a wheelchair user, so may be able to offer some advice. -

Have you tried a breastfeeding cushion on your lap? They have an elastic strap that wraps around you and your chair to hold it in place.

Thank you for your suggestions, I now have found a cushion from Clevamamia a company in Ireland. I have had a Social Service OT assessment and all she could come up with was a hospital bedside table
!! Useless! -
