Hi all,
Just seeing if anybody has recieved the points but recieved £0?
Long story short after a telephone assessment I recieved 6 points for daily living an 10 for mobility.
I requested a MR and added a letter of support to support my MR.
I just recieved my MR award notice. They have changed my points from 6 to 8 on my daily living. I've read every where if you get 8 points you get the standard rare.
But on the first page it says no award for daily living even though in the pages after it said 8 points recieved.
Its says I've got it for the next 2 years (mobility).
I don't understand is this an error on there side or has anybody else recieved 8 points with £0 for it?
There not open til Monday but it's giving me a head ache trying to work it out 🤣🤣🤣
So just seeing if this is a normal occurrence???
Thanks

It could be an error which can happen, though it's rare. It could also be there's no award if they think your conditions won't last for at least 9 months. Part of the criteria for PIP is that you've had the conditions for at least 3 month and expect them to last at least a further 9 months. All you can do is ring them tomorrow morning when the open.0

Stupid that isn't it, I've had anxiety disorders the past 18 years, 9 months time is no different. I haven't used my doctor yet I've saved that incase I need to appeal. I guess I may need if the phone call tomorrow doesn't go my way0

I hope you manage to ring them today @confusionj. Please do let us know how you get on
I'm sorry to hear that you've been affected by anxiety disorders for a long time now. Do you feel as though you're receiving enough support to help you manage your conditions at the moment?0 -
Hi and good morning @confusionj
Happily mistakes like this are rare but they do happen but you're doing the right thing in trying to get the problem resolved as quickly as possible. Keep in touch and let us know how you get on0 -
I can breathe today!
Phoned them at 9.30am, got a call back at 11am from the manager who did my MR.
It was a system error, I did infact get standard daily living and the system has been fixed backdated to October.
If anybody is going through the process don't give up and have hope, mine took 33 weeks in total. The MR gave me the extra 2 points taking It to 8 points.
I recieved my mobility in the bank 2 weeks after the assessment but my MR took 8 and a half weeks
I used no doctor's letters just copies of my medical records going back 18 years. Every doctor's visit, medication an referrals I took pictures on my phone and uploaded it online.
For my MR I added a supporting letter from my partner to get those extra 2 points.
I had no intention of going for enchanced im more than happy with standard.
Good luck to everybody fighting 💪
