Successful PIP Tribunal. When will my letter arrive? How long for backdated payment?

I had a Pip tribunal earlier this month and was successful in getting back the daily living component. It has been two weeks since I found out I was successful but I haven't received a letter from the DWP. When should I expect this to arrive? And how long should I wait for the backdated payment and for the award to start? Thanks.

After a Tribunal win it can often take up to 8 weeks, sometimes longer to pay what they owe you and to put the award into payment.

It can take quite a while for DWP to contact you. They have a month in which to decide whether or not they wish to appeal the tribunal decision.

I've been waiting 10 weeks since my successful Tribunal and I still haven't received a confirmation from DWP. I called them recently and they said because there's a huge backlog it's taking a long time - they hadn't even looked at my case yet! So be prepared for a wait. :(
