PIP - Moving Abroad

Hi all, this is probably a very unethical question but has anyone been successful in claiming PIP while living abroad?
I am planning to leave the country to spend time with family overseas as I am not sure how my health will be in the coming years. I am looking to go for a year or two.
Thanks and any help would be appreciated.

The mobility part will stop. Whether the daily living continues will depend which country you’re going to be living in. https://www.gov.uk/claim-benefits-abroad/disability-benefits1

Then after 13 weeks it will stop. If you don’t ring to report the changes you will have an overpayment. When you return to the UK you will need to be here for 2 out of 3 years before you can reapply.0
