If you’re found to have LCWRA then you will receive and extra £354/month on top of your existing amount.

It can take between 2-12 weeks for a decision. A letter will be uploaded onto your journal once it’s been made.0
-
Oh I thought 354 was including my uc0
-
It’s on top of your existing amount. Paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition.0
-
I filled the form in on Feb had assessment 10 days ago
If I haven't heard by 21 July my fit note runs out and I will need another one?0 -
Yes, you need to continue to send the fit notes until a decision is made.0

Thanks0

just had a message in my uc journal i have been told that i have lcwra and will no longer have to get fit notes or look for jobs
says i may get extra money because of my condition and changes to my payments will show up on my statement when they happen the extra money is awarded 3 months after the date you first gave us evidence of your health conditions, if this means we owe you some money we will tell you when you will get it you will receive a message in your journal in 7 days
that's what letter says in my journal
and i had to accept my commitments in my journal by ticking yes i agree
excuse me if I'm thick but does this mean i know longer need to see work coach or speak to peoples plus restart scheme?
will they stijj pay my rents per normal i get my uc and housing benefits paid on 2nd on every month
ive no idea how much i will get , letter didnt say my next payment date is 2nd aug
i notified them of my health conditions on the form i filled in and posted on 10th feb so will i get back dated from them?

That's good news. You will no longer need to send any fits notes or attend any further appointments, which will include the restart scheme. You don't need to tell your work coach because they will already know. The extra money of £354.28 is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition, provided you sent a fit note within 7 days of that and continued to send fit notes without any gaps. This is known as the waiting period and it's not paid at all during this time. Before i can advise you on when to expect the extra money from can you please tell me the exact date you reported the health condition? (not the date you filled out and returned the form)0

You mean from when I first asked the Dr for a fit note? Oh not sure. Was a while before Feb when I filled in form
Be several months0 -

Be several monthsIt's when you reported your first fit note, not when you asked your Dr for one. You can check back on your journal and it will tell you when you first reported it.Without knowing this date, it's not possible to tell you when the LCWRA element is paid from.0 -
OK il check my journal0
-
My journal says 29th October0
-
If your normal payment date is 2nd of the month and you reported condition on 29th October that is in the October to November monthly period. The three waiting months will therefore be November to February. The LCWRA element should be payable for the February to March period paid on 2nd April.0
-
So will I get it back dated on 2nd August0

Sounds confusing. I was getting 324 plus 399 that goes to housing benefit0
-
You will receive an extra £354.28 per month. You will receive this extra each month. They also owe you 4 months LCWRA element but it was slightly less than this before the April increase.0
