i received my new award letter stating that im getting the enhanced daily living now instead of the standard daily living.

the letter states that i am now entitled to enhanced daily living from the 1/01/2022 until june 2025, so i think that means i should be owed abit of money as we're now in july and i have only just started to get the enhanced rate this month and not since the 1st of January.

anyways at the bottom of the letter it actully does state they may owe me money as it says this: Now i have made a decision we may owe you some money, you will receive a letter to tell you more about this.

the only question i have really is how long does this process take to receive the letter about it? i had this letter well over a month ago and im still waiting for it now?

thank you for your time

Yes, it appears they do owe you some money, the difference between standard and Enhanced daily living. I would ring PIP to ask about the money they owe you because a month to wait seems rather a long time.

Were you claiming any benefits in the past such as tax credits? If so then it could be this.
