Hello everyone,
I have been stalking this site for a few months. I have found valuable information regarding the PIP application process.
My first application for PIP was Feb 2022.
The basis of my claim was Inflammatory Arthritis.
I work full time so was very doubtful that I would succeed with my application.
DWP received my application form 26/02/22. I had my F2F assessment on June 15th.
The assessment lasted one hour.
Although the assessor listened to me and was very kind ,I really didn't think I stood a chance.
Within 3 hours I'd received a text from DWP telling me they had my assessment.
About 10 days later I received a text from DWP telling I'd been awarded PIP!!!!
1st July ,received an amount of money into my account.
Shortly followed by my award letter.
I had been awarded standard on both daily living and moving around. This is a massive help to me.
I just want to say,to anyone who's thinking of applying but feels unsure as to whether they'd be successful...go for it!!!!
If you don't try you'll never know.
