Decision timescales are between 2-12 weeks, backlogs are just part of the reason a decision can be delayed.I realise it’s very stressful waiting but you’ve done everything you can for now and all you can do is wait.I think ringing them up all the time doesn’t help with anxiety. Try to concentrate on something else. Once the decision is made you will be sent the decision letter.0

A factual report is where they ask your GP for information about your conditions. There's some information here. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dwp-factual-medical-reports-guidance-for-healthcare-professionals/dwp-medical-factual-reports-a-guide-to-completionIt's impossible to speculate anything at this stage. If you've only been waiting 4 weeks since the report was returned to DWP then that's not long at all. Decisions can take anything up to 12 weeks. I know it's stressful but please try to think of other things to try to distract yourself, there's nothing more you can do until you have that decision.

I can’t tell you when a decision will be made. Sometimes it can take longer than 12 weeks. The timescales are only a guide.
