Hi, new here. 
Recently applied for PIP, I just had my text to say I've been awarded and to wait for my letter.
Does this mean Ive got at least the lowest payment?
Can they say I've been awarded but give me nothing?
It's only a week since my telephone assessment

    They've started to send out text messages for those that have been awarded. If it's a first time claim and you're not transferring from DLA money owed is usually in the bank before you receive the decision letter.
    The decision letter will tell you what you've been awarded and for how long. You award can be ether standard or Enhanced daily living and or mobility.
    You can ring PIP if you want to know exactly what the award is or you can wait for the letter to arrive.

    Thank you for your reply, so I will have been awarded something then, I'm worried I'm getting excited and it'll be telling me I'm unsuccessful xx

    I got standard rate care. Literally 10 weeks from initial phone call!! I thought it was too fast to get anythin!!
    2 years till review, I'm certain my mobility will have gotten worse by then too
