Child maintenance
Options
Hi,
My son will be turning 18 this Saturday and he's going to be finishing his A Levels soon. Do I still have to pay maintenance? Also my wife has got into a new relationship.

Once your son has ended full time non advanced education then you will no longer need to continue to pay the child maintenance (CM).pokeve92 said:Also my wife has got into a new relationship.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Has that helped to clear that up for you @pokeve92? You may also find it helpful to read Money Helper's page about child maintenance payments. Also my wife has got into a new relationship.I'm not sure of your circumstances, but I can imagine this may have perhaps brought up some difficult feelings. How have you been coping?
I hope your son's A Levels go well!
