Hello @fkennedy0689
Wishing you a warm welcome to the community, it's lovely to see you join us.
Thank you for telling us about your conditions, how do you feel you are currently managing with them? I hope you have enough support in placeThis is a very supportive and welcoming site to be a part of so I’m hopeful that you’ll find it to be a positive outlet. Feel free to have a look around and get involved wherever you’d like 😊 I have included below a few of the pages I’d recommend having a look through to get used to things:
- The virtual coffee lounge which is one of our categories, in which we play games and talk about general subjects such as hobbies and interests
- The recent discussions page, which shows an overview of everything happening across the community
- The categories page, which shows a full list of discussion groups on the community
If you have any questions at all then don’t hesitate to ask.

Hi @fkennedy0689
Sorry to hear that you feel as though your conditions haven't been treated as well as they should be. What has happened to make you say that? Are you in contact with a doctor or specialist at all to access their support with managing?0 -
fkennedy0689 said:when are health conditions going to be seriously treated in the UK?They are taken seriously; you aren`t the only person with physical challenges. There are people in a much worse condition than you - they deserve priority over you. There are people who are not as bad as you - you deserve priority over them. The NHS is bogged down, not only with people living here, but with "health tourists" and "boat people".I have nothing but praise for the NHS; I`ve had 2 lots of major surgery in the last 5 years and I have no complaints whatsover. They are over worked & under staffed, yet they deal with patients with a smile on their face.0

I personally cannot fault the NHS either, they’ve been fantastic with me and have really improved my quality of life. My family have also had excellent care.
I can understand though how your frontal temporal dementia can effect your behaviour and language, it must be very frustrating for you.I wish you all the best.0
