Also I am not currently on meds as I was waiting for the dr at MINT to prescribe me adequate meds as I refused anti depressants as I was on them years ago and didn’t like how they made me feel

Also I don’t change my clothes daily I told the assessor this

I’ve requested a copy of the assessors report

A lot of those reasons are copy and paste. A diagnosis is not needed for a PIP award. Lots of people claim it without one.
My advice will be to put the report to one side and forget about it because that's not going to get you a PIP award.
Concentrate on those real world examples i mentioned previously. You need to tell them why you can't complete the acitivity safely and reliably. Telling them you simply can't do it isn't enough.

Thanks @poppy123456 I haven’t got a copy of the report I phoned and requested it this morning but I have CAB phoning me on Monday to do the MR so the report won’t be here by then anyway

Good luck with the CAB phone call on Monday @apples. How are you feeling about things at the moment? I can hear the potential frustrations of not having a report copy as expected on time. If we can do anything to help, please don't hesitate to let us know, we are all here for you  :)

    Thank you @L_Volunteer

I was frustrated when I read the decision letter due to the lies but when I spoke to CAB he said it’s a normal response from pip so is totally normal

so I’m all good now thank you 👍

I received the report today only requested it yesterday morning !

It seems the assessor contradicts herself, during the report she said I was teary and stuttering during assessment, but at the end in her opinion I spoke clearly with a steady tone and was able to understand and answer the questions without being prompted

she also says because I went to mainstream school and I have a driving licence I am able to read road signs as it takes complex understanding to be able to drive

also she says I am able to cook which I’m not

    see how the MR goes

That's a classic copy and paste reason. Put the report to one side and concentrate on where and why you think you should have scored those points.

Just a thought, when they state “no evidence of cognitive impairment” is this something to be concerned about ?

No. That's one of the most common copy and paste reasons for not scoring points in certain descriptors.

    Thanks so much @poppy123456

looking at the original form filled out by CAB she didn’t put down a few things I told her about (real life incidents) that I may have been better trying to fill the form in myself

once the MR is completed by CAB I’m going to ask for the paperwork to be sent to me so I can read through it first not sure I trust them now

Past experience with CA for myself hasn't been great either and they usually did put limited information on the forms. Thankfully i never had to challenge any decision.
Since i gained further knowledge and now have a much better understanding of the PIP descriptors and what they mean, i now fill out the forms myself.

It will take a while to be scanned at the sorting office and will only be recorded by DWP once scanned.

Just because it’s been signed for doesn’t mean it’s arrived with DWP. It will have been signed for by someone from Royal Mail sorting office, not someone from DWP. It can take a couple of weeks sometimes for it to be added to the computer and it’s not classed as arriving until this happens.
They don’t always acknowledge receipt of an MR request either.

@apples hi have you had a decision on your (MR) yet?

    Hi @Trollydoll01

i rang pip yesterday as it was 2 weeks since they received my MR and it was confirmed it was received on the 11th I was asked if I had any more evidence to which I said no so was told it has now been logged

while I was on the phone I received a txt to state they had received and it will be 2-12 weeks for a reply

Another question for anyone wishing to answer, I was given a severe mental impairment form by the council to be filled out by my GP, I collected today and it says -

“Does the applicant qualify for severe mental impairment” the GP has ticked No

”is the illness permanent” the GP has ticked yes

”if yes to the above what date does the applicant qualify” the GP has put 03/10/2016

in additional comments the GP has put Anxiety + Depression Under (then I can’t make out the next word)

so my question is it worth me sending this to PIP ?

    thanks
