Ohh @leecal now your asking lol, I would definately give my written work to a publisher, if no failure, for one. Then I would buy the lottery, again guarantee win.
This list goes on doesn't it? You could have a great time with no fails.

Why would you join a monastery

@Sandy_123 for the peace and tranquillity...unless I’m mistaken!

Maybe you should send off your manuscript to a Few publishers, chosen by the genre of course. I wrote a book once myself and sent it off to three publishers. The story was about a board game which came to life, the players were sucked into a whole weird world of magic...a year later the film jumanji came out! It wasn’t plagiarism though because the book jumanji had been written many years before I wrote mine, unbeknownst to me.

You never know unless you try. I remember thinking that I hadn’t used big enough words or I’d got the punctuation wrong etc etc, I ignored all those doubts even though they were probably correct and sent it off anyway. The aforementioned things can be easily corrected if the basic ideas in the manuscript are good enough.

I don't really know much about it, to be honest, apart from the basic. You could look into it, if you were considering that path.

Believe it or not I’m now too old to join a monastery, unless I lie about my age, sinful though🤣. Once you’re over a certain age you’d become a burden to the community apparently, that was what I gathered from one monastery I checked out anyway . They do have their existing elderly monks to look after you see.

That doesn’t sound too difficult to attempt @Teddybear12, could you take an advanced driving course?

Produce an amazing piece of artwork on a grand scale...  (Thinking Mount Rushmore, Christ the Redeemer, Ancient Egyptian Sphinx type thing.)

I took a few flying lessons @life but one very windy day I lost my bottle and stopped going. The piper tomahawk was being blown all over the place, scary.

I too don't like heights but its different sitting in a plane for some reason, probably because you can’t see the ground that often.

@leeCal do you mind if I ask how much the lessons are? Im going to check myself now as well but just curious what you paid. I hate seeing lorry's on the motorway blowing side to side but always thought I'd rather be in the lorry than in a car beside it. Maybe that's how I'd feel if the plane was blown around the place 😂 sounds scary though

@leeCal; Great question. I’d study for a Psychology degree and maybe a Law & Criminology Degree thrown in too! Ahh…maybe one day I’ll try one of them…such interesting subjects 😀

Hi @life the lessons I took were £50 for about three quarters of an hour give or take, but that was thirty years ago so really aren’t relevant anymore .  Good luck 🙂

This question was in a Christmas cracker at a dinner about 15 years ago and I said I'd take out Bin Laden, as there was a $25m reward in it for me and it would make the world a lot safer at the same time.

Obviously he's not here now but I'd maybe change it to Putin. Would save a lot of lives, and, there isn't an official reward but I'm sure if I did it I'd be looked after! :D
