Child Dla to pip

Hello, 

received a text for successful pip 

When should they receive payment and as the pip award is higher does it get back dated to April ( minus the money paid by Dla ) ?

    Good news. There's no money owed when transferring from DLA even though the PIP award is higher. The first PIP payment will be in about 7 weeks. You will receive one final DLA payment in the meantime. When you receive the decision letter it should tell you when the PIP starts and payment days.
    Can answer the question about car insurance, i'm afraid.
