Disability premium

Good morning. I was told by income support on the 25th that i was getting disability premium as i was recently rewarded pip. Anyways they said id receive money backdated and within few days. I was thinking Tues 30th but forgot about bank holiday Monday. So called them today and they said payment wass issued 25th. Money still not in bank. Should i worry (which i am) due to my anxiety or can it take 3-5days to clear.

    Hi and welcome to the community 

    Most payments take 3 to 5 working days to clear so with bank holiday it could be Friday before its cleared

    i get confused with esa support group and income related esa what is difference plz

    The Support Group means that you are not required to look for work or do any work related activity and are paid extra money.

    income related ESA is means tested unlike contribution based ESA which is based on your NI contributions.

    They’re completely different things.
