LCWRA. When might my brother be reassessed?

Hi all, after a bad, serious stroke some years ago, my Bro is getting LCWRA now, because of cognitive decline, poor short term memory, and wandering lost. There was no date for re assessment on his very recent WCA, we are wondering when if at all the poor soul will be reassessed? They agreed, we think that he would never be able to return to work and he's 3 years from retirement anyhow. Anyone any ideas please? It was a helluva struggle getting him to the WCA! Thanks all x

LCWRA is an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise. Decision letters for the WCA never usually have dates on them.He can contact UC and ask when the estimated date is but it will just be a guide and nothing more. When he’s due for a review he will receive a letter on his journal telling him he’s being referred for the WCA. A few days later he should receive the form.0

Hello there @mitch59 and thanks for reaching out on the community, I hope you and your brother are keeping well this weekend.
Is there anything else we can help with at all?If you'd like to have a look around the rest of the forum please do feel free, here's a few of the best places to get started:
- Recent discussions is where you'll find all the latest conversations our members are having
- The categories page shows all the different topics for discussion
- The virtual coffee lounge is a place to chat, get to know other members, and play games too
I can appreciate how wearing the process of applying for benefits can be, so please do use the community as a place of support if you would like to. There are plenty of members in similar situations and we're all here to support you
