ESA and college

in Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
Hi I've applied to start a 4 week full time college course and been accepted it starts in 2 weeks.

I'm on ESA and also PIP and I'm in the support group of ESA I also receive severe disability premium. 

The college course is full time 30 hours a week.

How will this affect my ESA ?

    Hi, I don’t think it will affect your ESA as I have known people to be full time students and claim ESA

    Hi,
    Are you saying it's just for 4 weeks or was that an error? Either way, full time students can continue with their ESA claim but if there's a maintenance loan available to you then this will affect your Income Related benefits. Even if it is for just 4 weeks, you should report this to DWP just to be on the safe side. Providing it doesn't contradict the reasons you're claiming ESA there shouldn't be a problem.

    I start Monday should I inform the dwp today via phonecall or go into local job centre

    You've commented on a thread that's 8 months old. As the OP course was only for 4 weeks, as was advised at the time, it wouldn't affect their ESA. Not sure what you mean by "you can apply for an ESA"
