Hi I'm on the lower group of limited capability of work I work 8 hours per week on amended hours certificate bit I do have a 30hour contract at work which I can't do as yet.
Can someone tell me how does this affect me with the new rules that have come in from today about intensive work search for 35hours per week.
Hopefully someone can let me know a bit more about this.

As you were found to have Limited capability for work, then you will have no work search requirements. Therefore, nothing changes for you.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

For the benefit anybody reading this thread the change referred to is the increase in the Administrative Earnings Threshold. There are no changes to the rules as such, just a change in the threshold.
The AET is now £494/month for a single claimant and £782 for a couple.
Is this has no impact on people who are not in the intensive job search group.
The government announced on Friday that the thresholds will rise again in January.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
Yes I'm aware of this that was why I was asking cause I only do 8hours per week so does this mean I will need to get more hours from work to get up to this amount even thou I have LCW

These changes are not good for people with mental health issues just something else we have to worry about, I can increase my hours at work but don't know how long it would be before I end up going off sick again.
I'm dreading them calling me in -
