Do you have to inform dwp of a new condition

Hello, I was placed in the lcwra group for c/b esa last year. I've since been diagnosed by a specialist as suffering from rheumatoid arthritis in my hands, arms and feet. Do I have to inform the dwp of this new condition or should I wait until I am reassessed.

You're already in the Support Group (LCWRA is part of UC) and you can't have a higher award than this. For this reason there's nothing to report.

Thanks poppy and bg844, I shall leave it as it is then. I know this site does not usually deal with iidb claims, but just wondering if it is worth throwing one in. I am convinced this arthritis was in part caused by being a manual worker for nigh on 40 years.
