Hi, I suffer with OA in my ankles and I have a weak bladder. I live in a house with only an upstairs toilet and I can not get to the toilet before I wet myself. I wear incontinent pads but they do not stop me wetting my clothes. I have to crawl up the stairs when my ankles get to painful. I take pain meds which help a little. I have a prolapse so the incontinence can not be helped by drugs. We can not afford a downstairs loo, any suggestions to help would be great. Thank you

Have you referred yourself for a needs assessment? If not, you can do that here. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-care-and-support-guide/help-from-social-services-and-charities/getting-a-needs-assessment/

Sorry to hear about your situation have you considered using a commode downstairs or having a stair lift fitted1 -
Welcome to the community @sunbeam2006
I agree with the others, in that this sounds like a really challenging situation.
I'd echo poppy123456's suggestion of referring yourself for a needs assessment from your local council. Is that something you'd feel able to do?
