Early UC payment

Hi,

I get my UC paid on 3rd of the month,but today it came into my account. Is it normal to be paid early when it's not a bank holiday? I have only been on UC since May.

Can someone please tell me if this is normal?

    DWP do not pay any benefits on the weekend. It is very likely your bank released the funds today instead of Monday. Some banks do that but not all, I know mine doesn’t do that anymore but they used to.

    @MadCow1 yes this has happened a couple of times with me on UC. Normal.

    No worries. I wouldn't say it's normal because not every bank does this, mine doesn't and neither does my elder daighters.
