Does carers allowance come off my universal credit?

Hi if I have someone who is going to claim carers allowance for helping me does the amount come off my universal credit? I claim UC and ESA also on LCWRA award and daily living element low rate thanks x

Although it doesn't affect your benefits, it may affect any benefits they maybe claiming. Are they claiming any benefits? If so which ones? If they work they mustn't earn more than £132 per week (after deductions)

Hi sorry @poppy123456 I’ve just seen this. Erm they don’t work after having her son and get UC and have 3 children oldest 15 youngest 2. X0

XThey can claim carers element of UC without needing to claim carers allowance, providing they are not claiming the LCWRA element for their self.0
