Hi,
I have just been awarded PIP after change of circumstance in DLA.
I am now entitled to SDP. I currently get the £17.25 disability income guarantee. Will I still get this as well as SDP?

(You have said £17.25 but that should be £17.75.)
What level of DLA were you getting previously? If you were getting mid rate or higher rate Care DLA you would already have qualified for SDP (if treated as living alone and no one gettingCarers Allowance or carer element of UC for looking after you).Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -
A previous thread suggests they were claiming low rate care DLA which wouldn’t have qualified them to SDP.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
