looking to make new friends ..

Hi I’m in my mid thirties, single mom with physical and mental disabilities I suffer with anxiety and ocd and find it hard to accept some times. I wondered if any like minded people would like to become friends and offer support

    Hi @purplepetal I am in my 50s but have absolutely been there, you're welcome to message me absolutely any time for support, rant, anything !
    I brought up my two boys after divorcing when my youngest was 5, I have always struggled with social anxiety and more lately GAD and OCD. I had spine surgery when I was 21, and have struggled with physical symptoms ever since.
    I will say, even now that I am still finding it hard to accept, but learn to manage it, somehow.

    Thanks for briefly introducing yourself. I can hear that you want like-minded people to become your friends and offer support. Is there any support you are hoping for, in particular?

    Hopefully, this will be possible on Scope's forum. I think we are a supportive and friendly group. Some areas of the forum you might find particularly useful include:

    • Children, parents, and families
    • Physical and neurological impairments
    • Mental health and wellbeing
