Fantastic news, well done @PurpleQueen81 :) And thank you for sharing your timeline, as I'm sure that it'll be useful for other members who are going through the process themselves.

Are you feeling a little more relaxed now?

I agree that Schitt's Creek is a good watch. Who's your favourite character? Mine would probably have to be Moira.

@PurpleQueen81 Hi 👋  congratulations on your award. Have you had any money paid into your bank yet?
Looking at your timeline we both applied at roughly the same time give or take a day or two.
I havent had a decision yet but keep checking my bank just in case.
I'm not holding my breath and think I will most proberly have to do an appeal, but you never know.
I read that this was your third attempt.
Did you do anything different this time?
    Xx

Hi @grandmaof4 yes 3rd attempt and yes i did a couple of things differently, the first 2 times I applied I attempted the form my myself (I clearly didn't understand what I was doing) and recieved a 0 point assessment partly because of my lack of explanation of how bad things get for me (feels like none stop complaining about conditions im not one to whinge about things) and the feeling that the assessor didnt ask enough of the relevent questions to help me explain better, I also failed to send medical information with those applications.

This time I had help from a charity to fill in the form and ensured I explained fully the affect conditions have (complained about all of the affects they have on me), they photocopied the form and all medical info and returned it to dwp via signed for recorded and before the assessment I took anxiety meds (prescribed by my gp) to keep my mind calm enough to understand and explain better, the nurse doing my assessment was lovely she asked follow on questions to get a full picture and her report shows this.

I was very anxious and recieving a copy of my report set my mind at ease once recommend points were added up however for some I have heard it can increase anxiety.

I haven't had a payment yet my 1st payment is due at the end of Oct and dwp said bavkpay owed should clear this week.

@grandmaof4 have you had your report back or is this something you won't be getting? Hopefully they will have a decision for you soon have you called for an update on your claim?

Good luck getting to finish line hopefully with a decision  of an award.

    UPDATE

Unfortunately I'm still to recieve this. I don't really know where to turn, I've told them on my journal several times that it should start from the first fit note with a health change as theyre continous, that's being ignored, I've rang but nobody can deal with it over the phone apparently and I've put in an MR around 5/6 weeks ago which I'm yet to hear from, ive also wrote in my journal for someone to ring me so it can be explained to me why they believe they are correct but obviously this hasnt happened. My work coach changed her mind at one point and said entitlement start date would be 7/7/2022 which was when I handed my last fit note in before lcwra decision, I honestly don't know where she's getting her information from and said I'd recieve first payment in December however I asked on my journal today if I'd recieve lcwra element in my December payment and I've now been told no ill recieve it in January. They just say MR doesn't have a time scale and ignore my requests for them to give me the entitlement start date they're going off. I've tried ringing welfare rights but they're closed due to staffing & holidays. I'm really struggling now both physically and financially, I've looked at a nusery to help with my daughter as my sister used to do alot to help but she's now gone to university full time but I can't afford nusery without lcwra and I'm not entitled to any reduced nusery fees etc until I'm paid lcwra, it just seems so unfair and there doesn't seem to be anyone I can contact who can just fix it, its so simple they just need to look at their own guidelines.

Timescales for MR decisions is 2-12 weeks. I know it’s frustrating but you’ve requested this and all you can do now is wait.

    Hi Poppy

I know it's just so fustrating that it's so simple yet seems so difficult to resolve, such a waste of everyone's time. Could you help work this out ? If she had of changed the entitlement date to the 7/7/22 which she said she had on my journal, would I be paid in December or January? I'm working it out as December but I could be wrong, assessment peroid 3rd - 2nd. Its irrelevant really as they're just going to pay me when they want by the looks of things I'm just curious. Thanks, Hope your OK.

Your waiting period is March/April, April/May, May/June, LCWRA starts from AP 3rd June to 2nd July and first payment should have been July 9th. Therefore that date is irrelevant.
They really shouldn't be getting this so wrong for so many people! It's quite straight forward when the waiting period starts from and they only have to read their regulations.
