Hello
Im again laying awake at night because of pip
I'm had high care and mobility on dla, we know that dsnt matter though... I also had a indefinite award.
Pip have given me no points for journey and planning... despite lots of evidence and my husband stating times i have had to be rescued , picked up, helped and how he is almost always messaging me during a journey and meets me at bus stops most of the time. He went into detail for each point. And still no points on this renewal.
My friend was my advocate for my Mr last time and she went into great detail as well that was ignored then so this time my husband really worked hard to give lots of examples and explanation and named a app for disabled people i use and backed it all up but still none all they said was they deemed me able to do it but didn't say how they decided that.
We don't feel mentally able to challenge it and don't feel anything will change even if we do as Mr changing anything has low success...
We pleaded and begged that they give me a longer award as only being left alone for 1.5 years is making life unbearable....
The stress upset anxiety and how it takes happiness from life as its always hanging over ..
We said how the process affects me and my health and they don't care as they only awarded 2 years which is actually always 1.5
I feel they are being purposely cruel i have a genetic disorder its degenerative its not getting better i have adhd, cognitive disorder and my mental health is affected by these things that will not go away
I dnt understand why other than to be cruel why its short...
I don't know what to do
I know this sounds confusing but it makes me not want to live ... I don't want to die, I dont want to leave my kids and husband and family I want to live depsite depression and pain and suffering I like life but I do want to stop having to fight this all my life on top of my disability... I cant keep going through this is breaking me...I wouldn't take my life its just how it makes me feel if that makes sense... please don't flag up as anything serious I didn't mean it as anything like I'll take my life its just making my life unbearable...
I feel like im being made to prove I'm innocent of a crime... they say its to get you what you need but then if that's true they would make this so it's not crippling and so hard...
I don't get how they can say the think i can do x or dnt struggle with y when they don't have evidence.
I wish we had enough money that I didn't need pip then they could keep their money and I could live happier.
I feel like im missing out on things with my children because its always something I worry about.
It's not fair...

The only way to challenge it is by requesting the MR within one month of the date of the decision. You should put this in writing stating where and why you think you should have scored those points.MR decision timescales are between 2-12 weeks. If the decision doesn't change then you can proceed with Tribunal. You can get some advice and help from an agency near you. Start here. https://advicelocal.uk/

Why does this have to be such a fight0 -
Hello LauraYou said "Pip have given me no points for journey and planning..."Do you have any points at all for any other of the PIP activities? Do you have daily living?Like Poppy said all you can do is to do a Mandatory Reconsideration. Use the link that Poppy has posted and put in your postcode under the welfare section and it will show you agencies that will help you with your MR.0

@Laura Bradshaw Hello there and a warm welcome to our online community.
I'm sorry you are in a difficult situation with your PIP claim and I can completely grasp how worn down you feel by the process. It's a heck of a lot of emotional labour and can be draining when you come up against barriers to getting what you rightfully deserve.
I hear what you are saying about how it's making you feel and just want to check that you're getting support from either your GP or another health professional with your anxiety, mood and other conditions? Our community is a safe space to express how you feel and we'll always be here to listen but please do keep your support network up to speed with how the PIP process is impacting you. It's great that you have your lovely husband, family and friends looking out for you too
Some of our other members have encouraged you to pursue a Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) and that would definitely be something we'd recommend. Although it might feel like too much, getting input from a welfare advisor would help alleviate some of the pressures for you, so please do give a thought to seeking help from Advice Local. Their trained professionals will be able to drill down into the journey and planning activities to flesh out how your conditions meet the descriptors and how to illustrate this via evidence.
Please let us know how you get on and wishing you and your family all the best. Take care.0 -

I was being seen for cbt by a service but they have a absolutely insane 3 reschedule policy and they make you re apply I had to reschedule 3 times due to clashing with another appointment I didn't realise when I agreed (adhd) me being ill and then my 3 year old being sick and having to be collected...
There's no exceptions despite the fact cbt therapist left (medical) and they were not understanding of the impact having a new person is and told me in a really unsupportive and not sensitive way.
I let them know so and how it's a struggle to get to the point i did and now i have to start again and need some understanding.
Then they did this... I'm reporting them to the people I need to
And have self referred to a other service I'm waiting now
We got lots of support writing this and used benefits and work guides you can Trust
We gave lots of evidence
I don't understand what more we can do....
I will show my husband so he can look into what you have suggested but my husband was so detailed and gave lots of evidence and examples we had statements from bus drivers too
