End of an era

I have had cats for 30 years avd and today it looks extremely likely that our last cat will be put to sleep by the vets!
He's 19 years old, blind and has not eaten for 2 days 
He's got thyroid problems 
He's not  happy bunny
But he's had a good life

    I'm so sorry to hear this, so very sad! I've had cats myself all my life and i'd be devasted if i lost Alfie (he's 9)

    He knows that something is happening. 
    He's wandering around the house, walking into things making a weird high pitched cry... Sad

    Oh dear, that's very sad. Maybe he's in pain, which is even worse.
