PIP back pay or first payment

Hi everyone im new here and was wondering if somebody can help…
i have received a text message saying i have been awarded pip thats all nothing else, any idea when i will receive my back pay for my claim which was first made in like june?? Thanks in advance

If you’re not transferring from DLA then money owed will be paid into your bank first. You should receive this 3-5 working days after payment was sent.
You will then receive the decision letter sometime after this. In that letter it
will have your award details, where you scored those points and what day of the week you will receive your 4 weekly payment.3 -
No not transferring from DLA just got told been awarded over a text so do they send this payment out as soon as you have been awarded?0

Hi guys can you help was awarded standard pip both parts but had first payment of only £60 no back payment from start of claim is this normal do they pay back pay nor thsnk you0
