Hi there, I have my pip assessment tomorrow on video link and I’m feeling anxious. I have just found out I’m also a diabetic and I have high cholesterol.
my main reason to apply was because of severe leg pains, under active thyroid blood presure, feeling dizzy and aches all over, now I’m not sure because of new diagnosis

PIP isn’t about a diagnosis. It’s how your conditions affect you against the 12 PIP activities.During the assessment you’ll be asked questions about your health condition and how it affects your daily life. Try not to answer the questions with just a yes or no, give as much information as possible. If you kept a copy of the form you filled in (you should have) have a read of that before the assessment.
The assessment can last anywhere from 20 to 120 minutes, sometimes longer.0 -
How did it go today @desai786?

Hi Tori
not sure, the interview last 1.30 min
the assessor grilled me and tried asking the same questions to try and trip me up.0 -
She said I have to wait another 8 weeks for outcome.0

That sounds really difficult @desai786. Would anything, in particular, help the next 8 weeks to feel more manageable?
Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything to support you. We are all here for you and listening to you
