If it's fully furnished then it should have stated this on the tenancy agreement, did you read it before you signed it?You can try your local Authority who may have some funding to help with white goods. Other than that you can look on gumtree or facebook in your area to see if anyone is giving away furniture or selling it for very cheap.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Welcome to the community @louise_tivenan
I'm sorry to hear that this has happened.
Is it university owned accommodation? -
no its urban life accomodation

If you've checked your agreement, and it was definitely meant to be fully furnished, then perhaps you could look into making a complaint @louise_tivenan?
I found this complaints procedure page, on what I think is the right website.
Even though it's not a university owned accommodation, it could be worth speaking to your university about this. They may be able to offer advice and supoort, or even practical help. Is there someone at your university that you could talk to? -
I have a disability officer but she told me it's not there concern

You didn't answer the question that was asked, does it state it's supposed to be fully furnished in the tenancy agreement? If it doesn't did you read this agreement before you signed it?

theres a big sign outside that says fully furnished and it says it on contract too

Then you need to speak to your Landlord.

Yes, I'd definitely speak to them about it @louise_tivenan!
