Join us for a day of action to #BackThe1in6 on 22 Nov 2022
Thanks to your support, the back the one in six petition has over 14,000 signatures. But we're not done campaigning yet.
Please join us in a day of action tomorrow, Tuesday, 22 November 2022 to #BackThe1in6 and help reach new signatories. The more people who sign and share the petition, the louder our voice will be in calling for real change.
How you can take part
There are many ways to join in the day of action on Tuesday, 22 November 20221. Post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn, or any social media platform that suits you:
On Tuesday, 22 November please post on social media using #BackThe1in6 and ask your friends and followers to sign the petition and share the link: https://tinyurl.com/BackThe1in6
If you feel able, you could include your thoughts on what a Neuro Taskforce and improvements to services would mean to you. You can also include a picture of yourself if it's something you'd be happy to see online. It's completely up to you – sharing your experiences (and your pictures) is a very personal decision.
If you're not sure what to say, you could say or write something like:
“I #BackThe1in6. Will you? I'm calling on all UK Governments to work together to create a Neuro Taskforce and improve services for the one in six people in the UK living with a neuro condition. Sign & share the petition now. Follow this link https://tinyurl.com/BackThe1in6"
2. Don't use social media?
Talk to your friends and family about the petition and share the link (https://tinyurl.com/BackThe1in6) with them. Or email or text the petition link to your friends and contacts and ask them to sign and share.
How you choose to back the one in six is entirely up to you – we're grateful for anything you feel able to do to support and share the petition.
3. Can't take part on the day?
Don't worry! Share the petition link at any time, and continue to share our posts on social media to #BackThe1in6.
Thank you – we are extremely grateful for your continuing support. Together we are stronger.
