Hi all it's my first time I made a claim so I've had a telephone assessment on 11/11/22 a week later received a text saying the dwp received report and will make a decision within 8 weeks so I thought ok wait. Yesterday I received a voicemail saying they tried to contact me from dwp pip regarding my claim and will ring again today. I thought it was strange so rang them but they said someone had tried to call and that they would all again today so I've waited all day and received another voicemail at 16.59 again same person same message saying they will call next week but I've not received a call just straight to voicemail why no call block on either checked that so I tried to ring back ut call centre closes at 5 how convenient. Iam now suffering for longer and don't even know why they want to speak to me anyone help please......

I'm not sure what advice you would like exactly because anything we advise can only be a guess. Sometimes they ring before making a decision if they have any questions to ask. Nothing more you can do until Monday.

Thankyou I just wondered why they might want to speak to me but like you said it might be for more info do they tell you the decision over the phone at all? I'm just getting anxious about it and mad as to why they're able to leave voicemail but no call through to me if you know what I mean and why would they call a minute before closing so I can't get back about the voicemail?0

As poppy says, any answer would only be guesswork.naz786__ said:Thankyou I just wondered why they might want to speak to me but like you said it might be for more info do they tell you the decision over the phone at all? We can't explain why the calls have gone to voicemail without you hearing them.
Nothing sinister about them ringing you at that time
If they are working, somebody is going to get the call - it just happened to be you.0
