Esa and inheritance

Hello ,
I get pip and contribution based esa and a family member has died I am due inheritance both benefits are non means tested so savings etc isn’t considered I believe and was never asked about ? Do I need to still inform dwp as advice online is very conflicting ?

Ok thank you that’s put my mind at ease ! I didn’t think I had to as it wouldn’t affect the benefits anyway but just thought I’d check as wouldn’t want to be in any trouble .calcotti said:
