@Sandy_123 oh I hope you get rid of it soon. It's not nice is it? I felt really awful yesterday because I felt very ill which made my regular problems even worse. That's why I thought I deserved a couple of cognacs lol.
@Amberpearl we had rain yesterday but it's nice and clear here today. Where about are you in the country/world?0 -

Have you heard of Jack Monroe? She has lots of cheap recipes from when she was a food bank user: https://cookingonabootstrap.com/ there are lots that are just tinned stuff (a particular favourite of mine is peach chickpea curry, which is a can of peaches in water, a can of chopped tomatoes, and a can of chickpeas combined with whatever spices you have + you can bulk it out with rice. Recently I made a sweet potato soup with frozen veg and it was filling and cheap (and stuff like that makes more than you need, too.)

Quite a bad pain day today but I have a viewing in my shared house (I am trying to get a council place, sigh) so I am cleaning. Trying to do most of it sitting down. I'll be out of the house tomorrow as I hate being here when viewings are happening.

Good afternoon all you lovely's hope your all well and keeping warm.
Sorry to hear about the colds @Sandy_123 @66Mustang it does seam that this years cold is more like a flu.
@Amberpearl think your going to be in the area for some snow this week, so try and get anything you need before it comes, hopefully wont be to disruptive. If you can't sort proper home made soups out, even just drinking cheep cuppa soups all through the day will help keep you warm, be a change from tea etc.
I had a surprise visit from a friend today, she had a couple of days of work so she thought she'd visit, nice visit and a change to have someone different to talk to ha ha, wish i'd of known tho i posted her Christmas cards last week ha ha. x2 -
