That's a strange one @Sandy_123 - hope it wasn't anyone from the party we were supposed to go to ha ha - haven't spoke to the lads yet to see how it went.
Hope it's all quiet now x1 -
I rang the police at 6 ish because one walked in my house, luckily I was awake. I went out and challenged who ever it was, he was like sorry I confused, I said not good enough.
Police were of no help, my son was in the city with freinds and asked me to put door on latch, as he forgot his key. You can imagine how mad I was at him and the incident. Even he told them All to pipe down when he pulled up. Peeping their horns and everything
Was a house party 2 doors down0 -
Oh no @Sandy_123 that's not good and scary i bet - makes you wonder at that time of the morning, doesn't sound like the after math of a normal party - have you seen any of the other neighbours - is it still going on sounds like a nightmare x0
-
They've all gone now I will speak to the people who live there when I see them out side. What scared me was the thought if I was unable to move with my back at the time, or if I was asleep, pluss grandkids are here.

Not a good thing to have happen @Sandy_123 hope your okay now darling ****0
-
I'm alright just angry, I'm all for young 1s having a good time but the house party spilled into the street, no other neighbours told them, even tho there lights were on with the noise. Ah well I feel more sorry 4 him having a angry woman after him lol0
-
Yep i know what you mean, think people just get a bit frightened now days to say something at the time.
I'd be the same it would really anger me and hubby still thinks he can take on the world ha ha - he's like a bull at a gate with things like that. Sounds like the lad might avoid you @Sandy_123 but it's right that you should say something - wonder if the police sent a car round just to check (after the event) x0 -
Morning all. I’d be angry too having someone walk in my house. You’ve been the bigger person though as some people would get quite violent in situations like that.1
-
Lets hope it turns to rain quick @Sandy_123 although i bet your little ones would enjoy it x0

Good morning everyone
What a scary start @Sandy_123 I would fill in that police survey tell them they were useless . Hope your OK now lots of sugary drinks and distraction playing with the kids
Hope everyone has a good day1 -
Hello everybody.
@Sandy_123 that does seem weird and scary having someone walk into your house. Was he drunk or stoned? And didn't realise which house the party was in, perhaps. Very poor form from the police for not even bothering to turn up. I'd write a complaint to them, for whatever good that will do. The police are useless these days on the whole, even my family member who was one for 30 years says they are useless now and he is glad to be out.

Morning everyone. Not having a good one so far. Sorry to hear about your experience @Sandy_123 I had workmen try and unlock my door once. Obviously I told them off, they didn't even apologise that they'd gotten the wrong flat (they needed the one next door.)0
-
@66Mustang no point complaining, it's like everywhere they have limited resources, very few officers for the Borough. She did say we don't have anything todo with noise control any more.0
-
@Sandy_123 I think it's a bit more than noise control someone entering your house but as long as you are safe and OK in the end thats what matters0
-
Yeah I know good job I was awake. Kids mom is a police officer, so I know how limited they are0
-
Good morning all
I was up few times for the bathroom
More snow

Me too @Sandy_123 I have a relative who did over 30 years as an officer, it's true they are limited but they also do allocate the resources they do get very badly. It's still a good job to do in my opinion and the officers on the front line deserve more credit than they get, the ones in charge maybe not
