PIP payment once awarded

Hi i have had a txt stating i have been awarded pip and my letter will be with me in 2 weeks stating my award components but will i get my first payment before that?
does anyone know once you have been awarded how long it takes to get you first payment please

Hi and welcome to the community
You should get any back pay before you get the letter usually around 3 to 5 days after payment is activated
Yoy payments will then start after this
If you call the helpline the automated message should tell you when you'd payment will be and his much this doesn't include back pay . Beware tho thus isn't always accurate0 -

You can be awarded any part of PIP.
