Mandatory Reconsideration

Well received my pip award today. Was awarded the lower rate for daily living 8 points total of 4 points for mobility. Submitting the letter i was advised to by the call handler was a complete and utter waste of time.So now I prepare for a mandatory reconsideration. the decision maker appears not to have taken anything that I have said into consideration. there are a number of daily tasks that i physically cannot do 

any pointers would be appreciated

    Oh no @wilf1234. I can really hear your frustration, particularly with it feeling like a complete and utter waste of time. 

    How are you feeling at the moment about a mandatory reconsideration? Hopefully, it will take more into consideration. 

    I am hoping people can share pointers with you soon too. Are there any pointers you are hoping for in particular?

    hi

    thanks for the support. my main issue is that for every descriptor I was marked can use an aid. this is completely not the case, in the beginning, I could but I cannot now so how do I explain this /

    What do you mean by "in the beginning you could" Why are you unable to use an aid? Why is assistance needed? What would happen if you didn't have assistance? If an aid can reasonably be used then this is where you'll score the points.

    You need to explain why, on the majority of days, you are not able to complete the activities even with the use of an aid.

    Sometimes they may just say uses an aid when something else applies but may give the same point score so it isn’t worth debating it, You should get clear in your mind which descriptor applies to you.
